Five B-25 Mitchell Bombers staged at Grimes Field Airport in Urbana Ohio for the Doolittle Raiders Flyover on November 9, 2013.
The B-25's begin to arrive Friday morning on Nov 8, 2013. Two of the airplanes offered rides to the public from their arrival through Sunday morning.
The B-25's departed Urbana Grimes Field at about 1:30pm Saturday for the flyover in Dayton.
Ride aircraft in the flight were Panchito, Yankee Warrior, Axis Nightmare, Georgies Gal and Miss Happ.
On the field in Urbana is the Champaign Aviation Museum - open to the public. The museum houses a fully restored and flying B-25 "Champaign Gal" and a B-17 restoration "Champaign Lady".
